Rudolf Friem war 1935/36 und 1937/38 Geschäftsleiter des Vereins "Brüder" (Dobročinný spolek Bratří v Praze). Im Buch befindet sich ein Stempel Friems - offensichtlich mit Privatadresse - sowie ein Stempel des Vereins. Noch ist es unklar, wer der letzte rechtmäßige Eigentümer des Buches war. Es könnte eine Schenkung Friems an den Verein gewesen sein, oder es wurde dort ausgesondert und Friem erhielt das Buch daraufhin. Der Verein wurde 1940 zwangsaufgelöst. Von Friem sind mehrere Wohnadressen in Prag belegt - die auf dem Stempel genannte entspricht offensichtlich der Adresse des Elternhauses seiner Ehefrau Viléminá / Wilhelmine Weinberger (Bis 1918 hieß die Revolucni Třída Elisabeth Straße und während der deutschen Besatzung Berliner Straße). Dort wohnte das Ehepaar gemeinsam seit 1923 bis längstens 1935.
Rudolf Friem was the managing director of the “Brüder” association (Dobročinný spolek Bratří v Praze) in 1935/36 and 1937/38. The book contains a stamp belonging to Friem – apparently with his private address – as well as a stamp belonging to the association. It is still unclear who the last legal owner of the book was. It could have been a gift from Friem to the association, or it could have been discarded there and Friem subsequently received the book. The association was forcibly dissolved in 1940. Several residential addresses in Prague are documented for Friem – the one mentioned on the stamp obviously corresponds to the address of the parental home of his wife Viléminá / Wilhelmine Weinberger (until 1918, Revolucni Třída was called Elisabeth Straße and during the German occupation Berliner Straße). The couple lived there together from 1923 until at least 1935.
